History

Overview

The History tab shows the history for the file or directory currently selected in the workspace view.

For a selected directory, history includes changelists with modifications anywhere in that directory's subtree. If that subtree contains a repository link, history from the linked repository is included too.

When you use it

Check history when you need context about a change or before starting new work in the same area.

What you can do here

• View revision lists for selected files and directories
• Inspect who submitted changes and when
• See changelists across a selected directory subtree
• For individual files, select revisions and compare them with previous revisions or other selected revisions

Typical flow

1. Select a file or folder.
2. Open History to see revisions.
3. Review details before continuing work.
